1/22/2024 0 Comments Bay breeze sanford ncThere’s way too much great bbq in NC to waste money here. I will definitely not be returning ever again. We literally had to walk through at least ten people smoking to get inside. One last note not concerning the food is that they have seats set up outside the front door as a smoking section. We asked for salt and pepper and tried to season the food enough to eat it but just couldn’t hide the fact that it was completely disgusting. My daughter had the pork carnitas tacos which were almost inedible. Coming from a bbq connoisseur he said it had no smoke flavor & he wasn’t even sure it was actually cooked on a smoker. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and also complained that it had no flavor. The salad was completely void of any seasonings at all. The chimichurri was nonexistent which left me with basically a dry pita. The brisket was almost all fat and tasted more like pot roast than smoked brisket. I had the brisket chimichurri gyro with tomato cucumber salad. We ordered the “Cup of Bacon” and were very pleased with how good it was. Our server was very attentive and we received our appetizer quickly. ![]() We had high hopes for this meal that came recommended by a local friend.
